AKG C214 vs Mystery Microphone

Hy here with a really quick comparison Between the AKG C214 and a mystery microphone that I'm Going to put on the Boom in just a Minute now this other microphone that I'm going to put on the boom I got for $49.95 so this is the AKG with no Processing on the roadter video now I'm Going to turn a little processing on all Right this is the AKG 214 with the depth Processing turned on on the roadter Video how do you like this sound in Particular with the roadter video paired With the c214 this is the punch setting On the roadter video and this is what it Sounds like paired with the AKG c214 I Really like the sound of this microphone It is a microphone that has grown on me As I've had it longer and when you add Processing to it I think it really comes Alive but this is what it sounds like With a little bit of processing and I'll Turn that back off all right this is the Natural sound of the AKG C214 with the roadter video now absorb It in a little bit and we're going to Switch over to the other microphone now I'm back on this mystery microphone that I got for $49.95 this is the mystery microphone How do you like the sound in comparison To the C214 I'll reveal what microphone this is In just a minute but we're going to

Going to turn on the processing like we Did I had to boost the gain up quite a Bit to get in the same neighborhood as The C214 now I have the depth preset on the Roadter video and this is what it sounds Like paired with this 4995 microphone how do you like the Sound when you have the depth preset set On the roadter video all right now I'm Going to turn on the hunch like I did With the other one all right here's the Microphone With the punch setting on the roadter Video how do you like it with this added Processing on the microphone I'll be Curious to read your thoughts in the Comments below now I'm going to turn Processing back off now we have the Natural sound of this microphone and the Reveal is on it is 512 Audi's Skylight Condenser microphone how do you like This microphone sound I'll switch back To the c214 one more time all all right Back to the c214 with no processing Turned down how do you like this sound As I stated before the more I use this Microphone by AKG the more I like it When I first got it I wasn't that big of A fan of how it sounded on my particular Voice however the more I'm using it the More I'm getting comfortable with the Sound I'm hearing back in the videos Again AKG

C214 no processing paired with the Broadcaster video now back to the Skyline By 512 audio now I'm back on the Skylight by 512 audio and this is just Such a inexpensive microphone I wanted To give it a shot and I'm really liking The sound I don't think I like the sound As well as the AKG I think the AKG has Some certain warmth to it that this one While it has some warmth to it just Doesn't seem to compare to that I know You're going to say no du Hank the Microphone is $500 more which yes you Got to take that in consideration I like This microphone sound I don't think it Matches up to the AKG c214 that it could Be an either or if I took money out of The equation I think the sound of the C214 is just much more pleasing to me my Buddy Raul who is a huge AKG fan he's Probably hitting the comments as the File is uploading the YouTube somehow But I can't wait to hear what he thinks And I cannot wait to hear what you think If you'd like a full review of the Skylight click the video that's going to Come up on the screen right now as Always thank you
